How to Edit a Cycle Count
Section titled “How to Edit a Cycle Count”Editing a Cycle Count lets you adjust dates or assignments when the audit plan changes.
info: Location Lock Once a Cycle Count is generated, its Location is permanently locked to protect audit integrity.
If the location is wrong, cancel or delete the record and create a new one.
Step 1 – Access the Cycle Counts List
Section titled “Step 1 – Access the Cycle Counts List”- From the main sidebar, expand Parts & Supplies.
- Click Cycle Counts and stay on the List tab.
Step 2 – Open the Edit Form
Section titled “Step 2 – Open the Edit Form”- Find the Cycle Count you need to modify.
- Click the More (⋯) icon in the far‑right column.
- Select Edit from the dropdown menu.
Step 3 – Update Audit Parameters
Section titled “Step 3 – Update Audit Parameters”Update the fields that require changes.

| Name | Update the title of the audit. |
| Start Date | Adjust the date when physical counting should begin. |
| Due Date | Extend or shorten the deadline for completing the count. |
| Assign to | Reassign the audit to a different technician or team member. |
| Description | Update context or specific instructions for the assignee. |
Step 4 – Save Your Changes
Section titled “Step 4 – Save Your Changes”- Review the updated schedule and assignee.
- Click Submit.
The new parameters take effect immediately; the assigned technician will see the changes on their dashboard.
